How long does philosophy purity last

I never heard from her again. I have never had my other hope in the jars smell like this, I think there is something wrong with this jar.

I don't care what philosophys customer service said about the shelf life of this product it is old and it does smell.

I would like to return it or exchange it for a fresh jar. I am not a department store nor do I have tons of stock of Hope in a Jar sitting around What is my responsibility here?

As far as I am concerned, she was sent a product that was in unopened, sealed condition and it no longer is. How do I know she didn't do something to it? I really am not willing to refund her money but need advice! Message 1 of All forum topics Previous Topic Next Topic. Is it the auction that ended on February 27th? If so, you state in the auction that the item is brand new Also, in one picture you have taken the lid off-so perhaps something happened to the seal during that time.

If it were me, I'd refund her money. Now that you know about the date code, you'll be more informed when listing this item in the future. Message 2 of Does anyone know how they are with their refund policy?? If your gecko is broken, you have a reptile dysfunction. Message 3 of To respond to a couple of the things mentioned First, thanks to both of you! About the dates - the year old already, 3 months by me thing - the date code is NOT something that can be accessed without tearing apart the label.

And even at that, it's not an easy label to get off! An item being 3 months old, or even 15 months old, should NOT be a problem. They say it has a shelf life of "about 3 years". Again, they do not make any of that known to their consumer and do NOT put an expiration date on anything.

As far as me taking the lid off for the photo and something happening to it - no, that's not the case. Plus, she didn't have a problem with the seal on it. The way it's sealed it will not "come off" just because the lid is removed. In order to prove it was sealed, how else could I have done that? And it WAS brand new - it hadn't been opened or used Not sure what the problem is with that? I know I should probably be more attuned to the ingredients in my skincare products, but I generally just want what's going to work best for my skin — and that's why I've been loyal to the Purity cleanser for so long.

It helps with my redness, gently cleans out my pores, and removes even my most stubborn makeup when paired with the FOREO facial cleansing brush. As part of the Purity Made Simple line , you'll also find supplemental products like eye gel, a pore mask, lightweight moisturizer, cleansing cloths, and makeup remover. Though I've never tested them personally, I can confidently assume they're all wonderful, considering that I've never met a product from Philosophy that I didn't love the Amazing Grace shampoo, bath, and shower gel hybrid is one of my other favorites.

As a long-time fan who's been using Purity cleanser pretty consistently for the past few years, I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a great face wash. It's simplicity is exactly what makes it so special, and though it's a little more expensive than what you may be used to from the drugstore, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to say it's worth the price.

What is average PAO for my mascara lipstick, gloss etc? The general rule is simple: as soon as you notice changes in your cosmetics — this means that the shelf life came to the end.

First of all, the smell: as soon as you feel any nasty notes, sharpness or rancidity, trash it. Pay attention to appearance sheen appears , texture formed pellets, liquid consistency becomes heterogeneous , or gases have been formed in a tube — the shelf life is out!

Nail polish can be considered worthless, as soon as it began to thicken and harden. Even if the recently purchased cosmetics were in the heat for quite a long time — do not use it anymore.

As a conclusion, if you have any suspicion about the appearance or odor of the product, it is better do not use it anymore. French National Institute for Consumer INC recommends do not use cosmetics after any visible changes in color, texture or odor.

I've used it for years and then when my husband tried it, he fell in love with it also. He has very acne prone skin and nothing was helping him.

He tried proactive, cetaphil and lots of others and they didn't help. Then he tried my purity cleanser and religiously started using it. His face is now clearer then I've ever seen it. He hardly gets breakouts. I'll post a before and after. I heard many people raving about this cleanser and thought I'd try it. I found the smell off putting - reminds me of a strong soap my grandmother uses or those you find in gas station bathrooms.

I found it to be very harsh and it dried out my combo skin. It did not remove my make-up and my skin felt very tight and irritated and turned red. I much prefer CeraVe Foaming Cleanser which doesn't smell bad, removes make-up, has a moisturizing effect, and contains hyaluronic acid and ceramides. This cleanser does not make my face feel like it's even been washed and it left me with horrible painful acne.

Takes off waterproof makeup without having to tug on skin especially the delicate eye area. Leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated. I've been a makeup artist for 25 years and this cleanser is my absolute favorite! A little bit goes a long way. I can't live without this. I been using for 8 years and leave my skin clean y smooth. My skin is really dry but this is the best one. I bought a large 8oz. I truly hoped I would love it and gave it every opportunity to work as I'd thought it would.

Unfortunately, it leaves my skin so dry and even flaky. So terribly disappointed and such a waste of money. I'll never purchase again and will continue my search for the perfect cleanser that leaves my skin soft and completely clean!

I am a double cleanser. I love this as my second step. My skin doesn't feel stripped of its natural oils - the moisture barrier is left in tact. Bought it on a "whim" - so, so happy I did. Have the 22 oz.
