Depending on origin, Facebook photo tags may remain fully or partially intact after a block is done.

When you block a Facebook member, he can no longer view your content, including most photos, videos and your personal Timeline. Notifications are not sent for blocking, maintaining the confidentiality of the person doing the blocking. When you block someone, photo tags may disappear fully, partially or not at all.
